Nic Cheeseman, Co-Editor
Nic Cheeseman used to be one of those people who never left Oxford, but then departed to Birmingham in search of new restaurants and heavy rock. He mainly talks about Kenya and Zambia but occasionally strays further afield when he is feeling lucky. A former editor of African Affairs, he is sometimes accused of being a political scientist. SJ Cooper-Knock, Co- Editor
The common-or-garden SJ is usually found loitering around the Centre of African Studies at the University of Edinburgh, lecturing on international development and researching (in)security in South Africa. When she escapes Edinburgh, she can often be spotted running, climbing and (more frequently) falling over in the Peak District.
