Panelists including Ms. Mary Chinery-Hesse, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, (Minister of Petroleum for Nigeria), Nic Cheesman (University of Oxford) and Dr. Elsie Scott (Howard University, USA) at the first Women in Government and Politics Conference for Africa, held at Central Hall in Westminster, London. The conference, which will result in a manifesto, encourages women to participate in all aspects of politics and governance in Africa, and was attended by guest speakers and delegates from across Africa.
