The panelists will debate the state of democracy in Africa in the wake of recent events in Burkina Faso, Burundi, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. They will also discuss the findings of Dr Cheeseman’s new book, Democracy in Africa, which will be on sale during a drinks reception that will follow the discussion.
